Since I wrote that post about liberals in the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland State Senate wanting to impose the rights of transgenders into the restrooms and locker rooms in schools, fitness, centers, and churches throughout the state, I have learned that this law is ALREADY in effect in Montgomery County, thanks to the hard work of Duchy Trachenberg.
Fortunately for the non-radical-liberals in Montgomery County, the County Council did back off on allowing transgendered men from entering women's restrooms. However, the current law written for the state, as I understand it, has no exceptions.
In addition to what I've mentioned before, there is no way to determine if someone is suffering from gender identity, or just some raving lunatic trying to get more media for his voyeurism website, a child molester, or a rapist. These people can now claim gender identity protection under Montgomery County law, provided they are not caught committing another crime. But with the law, this gives them free access to protected places, such as bathrooms and locker rooms.

Having a bathroom that serves one person at a time is how you serve everyone best.
I think that this will be really common in a few years. I really wasn't aware of the issue until I started interacting more with the GLBT community in Colorado. There was this one woman that I knew who dressed so much like a man that women would scream when she entered the women's restroom. She usually had her girlfriend go into the bathroom first to make sure no one was in there.
For her and other gender-abnormal people, some students mapped out all the bathrooms on campus that were either unisex, family, or a single stall. The gym was the most problematic area on campus because you really do want some private shower for the gender non-conformists.
Since then, I have been more aware of this issue.
So, how do they label the signs for the bathrooms in Montgomery County? They certaintly can't say Women or Men since gender doesn't matter anymore. Since gender doesn't matter, why not remove it all together. How about at all State Government offices they remove gender differentiated bathrooms and just have Republican and Democrat bathrooms?
folks, this thing is nothing more than a moral panic. My city of Columbia passed a trans-inclusive anti-discrimination law and WE HAVE YET to have a problem about perverts invading women's bathrooms. Don't believe the hype.
